What is Asthma?
Asthma is a chronic disease that affects your lungs. People with asthma would experience chest tightening, breathlessness and wheezing. The cause of asthma is not completely understood, but the risk factors of developing asthma are allergens, tobacco smoke, air pollution, and chemical irritants. According to the World Health Organization, 235 million people suffer from asthma worldwide and over 80% of asthma deaths occurs in low and lower-middle income countries. Asthma is most common in children.
